Building for reliability, in partnership with EPC and Project Management companies

Siveco has pioneered the concept of implementing maintenance systems during the construction of a plant, thus supporting start-up and enforcing good preventive maintenance habits from day one. Although we sometimes work directly for the owner, we often involve in projects together with engineering and construction companies. Such relationship falls under our Value Added Partner Program, where the EPC or Project Management company brings specific value added:

– Existing relationship with the customer
– Knowledge of customer’s requirements from the early stage of a project (before construction starts)
– Direct involvement in the construction/engineering process, i.e. ability to influence future operation/maintenance (see chart below)

On the other hand, Siveco brings unique know-how of maintenance in China and an unparalleled experience working on reliability engineering from the construction stage, an area unfamiliar for most EPC companies operating in the Chinese market.

Depending on the end-client’s needs, we may act as a subcontractor of the EPC or PM company, or work independently (business introduction by EPC, direct contract with end-client, and cooperation onsite with EPC team as needed for the project).

The Siveco Value Added

Ability to influence Life Cycle Cost

For more information on the importance of preparing maintenance early, also see this article “Reliability – Preparing maintenance from the construction stage“.

The Siveco team in your project

We let you stay focused

Optimized use of your own team, through a rapid deployment of Siveco resources on site, an unmatched combination of engineering and maintenance skills and an expert back-office support team in Shanghai. Your engineers are then free to concentrate on your core competencies and priorities.

A unique support system

Our engineers record events and failures into our web-based management system COSWIN. Experts back at the office can then view and analyze reports. At the end of the project, the full technical database can be handed over to the plant owner, a unique Siveco feature, ensuring no knowledge is lost.
