Siveco & LLVISION Smart Glasses solution at the Industrial IoT Innovation Summit in Shanghai
On September 5, Siveco and partner Beijing LLVISION Technology attended the Industrial IoT Innovation Summit in Shanghai, an event focused on exploring solutions to advance IoT capabilities and digital transformation. LLVISION is the maker of the GLXSS Augmented Reality (AR) glasses that have recently gained worldwide media recognition and industry clients for their pioneering use by the Chinese police for security checks based on face recognition. A joint solution bluebee® for smart glasses was developed earlier this year and is currently being implemented for a first client (a large international airport in Greater China).
For this event, the Siveco team was hosted at the Beijing LLVISION Technology booth. Siveco Marketing Manager Taylor Huang and LLVISION International Sales & Marketing Manager Sunny Sun demonstrated bluebee® for smart glasses, attracted lots of visitors to try and experience the real inspection work by smart glasses. Brochures were available for all attendees summarizing the features and functions of this innovative IoT solution. Most attendees were interested in how to use smart glasses to scan QR codes, wanted to try the voice recognition and discuss how the solution could support remote assistance in real practice.
bluebee® for smart glasses is automatically enabled when the phone detects the presence of the GLXSS. With bluebee® for smart glasses, engineers are able to use voice and gestures commands when conducting inspections and all tasks will be shown in the glasses AR display. The system offers strong O&M assistance by showing SOPs, including safety procedures, and allowing remote expert coaching.
