1986 |
Founding of Siveco Group (France); a pioneer of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) in the French market, the company was to become the largest CMMS provider in Europe, with over 80,000 users in more than 60 countries. |

1989 | Release of Siveco’s first standard software product: COSMAN. The ancestor of COSWIN, COSMAN was a MS-DOS application. | |
1991 | Opening of Siveco UK, the first Siveco subsidiary abroad. Siveco UK later became a major player in the local CMMS market, winning projects with privatized transportation and utility companies, defense contractors and manufacturing plants. | |
1992 | Setup of Siveco Romania as Siveco’s R&D unit. Siveco Romania was to become one of the largest software companies in Romania and the largest of all Siveco companies (68 million Euros revenue in 2011). | |
1994 | Release of COSWIN, an innovative Windows-based CMMS, introducing key concepts such as the horizontal navigation, the Diagram Editor, the Screen Editor, the links to external documents, the integrated report writer etc. | |
1995 | Release of COSWIN 4, with advanced functionality such as repairables handling, automatic purchase requests, actions on work orders, technical attributes, advanced preventive maintenance planning etc. |
1996 | First contract with Singapore MRT for the world’s first fully automated metro line, the North East Line, the first Siveco project in Asia, featuring implementation of the CMMS from the early construction stage and extensive integration with various SCADA and Condition Monitoring systems. | |
1997 | Setup of Siveco Italy, confirming Siveco’s position as the leading European CMMS supplier. Siveco Italy went on to work with major Italian groups (Ansaldo, Danieli, Fiat, Finmeccanica, GE Nuovo Pignone etc.) both for the local and exports markets (e.g. the world’s largest infrastructure project, the Great Man-Made River in Lybia). | |
1999 | Release of COSWIN Client/Server edition running on Oracle or MS SQL database. Introduction of multiple tree structures, interface tools, configurable free modules, the Clic-Clac data migration engine, etc. | |
2000 | Release of COSWIN 6, designed for large scale enterprises, with multi-company functionalities and an improved user interface (graphical planning tool, workflows). COSWIN 6 also integrates all the developments made for the Singapore MRT project. | |
2002 |
Start-up of Siveco Greece. The company later worked with a strong focus on facilities management, landing major deals with the 2004 Athens Olympic facilities, airports, hotel chains and FM companies. |

2002 | Release of COSWIN Mobile, the first mobile version of COSWIN, already working on multiple OS platforms (Symbian, Windows Mobile and Palm). | |
2003 | Release of COSWIN 7i, the first full-web version of COSWIN, at a time where most CMMS were still Client/Server based with web add-ons for Job Requests. Further user interface improvements to simply the usage of COSWIN in spite of more and more advanced functionalities. | |
2004 | Siveco starts its operations in China through a distributor, maintenance consulting firm Arcadia Consulting, founded by Bruno Lhopiteau, a veteran of the Chinese maintenance market. First project with Beijing Oriental Plaza, one of most prestigious real estate complex in Beijing. | |
2005 | With a positioning on maintenance improvement rather than pure CMMS, Siveco China started to win projects both with multinational and local companies (SITA Waste Services, SinoFrench Water, Auchan Supermarkets, etc.). |
2007 | Siveco China (Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise) opens in Shanghai, taking over all the customers of Arcadia Consulting. Growing customer base, mostly among multinational manufacturers. Setup of a Joint-Venture business with construction service provider AES International. | |
2007 | Founding of Siveco Brazil to manage Siveco’s distributors network in South America. The company went on to implement some of Siveco’s largest projects, for example with oil company Ipiranga (Brazil) or space observatory Alma (Chile). Siveco China launches its Value Added Partner Program (VAPP), aimed at providing better access to Siveco’s maintenance improvement solutions for customers across regions and industries. VAPP is designed to offer significant profit-sharing opportunities to partners with strong expertise in their industrial or geographical areas. |

New visual identity for Siveco Group, new company logo and corporate color changed from green to blue. |

Siveco China joins the support network of Siveco Group, offering 24/7 hotline technical support to customers worldwide from its Shanghai support center. | ||
2009 | In the midst of the financial crisis, decision to invest in R&D in China (mobile solutions bluebee® “for the worker of tomorrow”). Fast development on large multi-site customers (Saint-Gobain Pipelines, International Paper, Changcheng Property Group) and overseas business with projects in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. |

2010 |
Continuing investment in R&D (bluebee® cloud for multisite facilities management), expansion of the Shanghai R&D center, with both in-house and outsourced teams. |
2011 | Opening of Siveco Benelux office in Belgium, covering the Belgium-Netherland-Luxemburg area (until now managed by a distributor) with major customers such as the European Union government facilities. | |
Siveco tablet-PC solution wins innovation award at MAINTEC 2011, the leading Maintenance and Asset Management show in the UK. | ||
2012 | Opening of a second China office in Chengdu, immediately followed by the opening of a dedicated R&D office in Shanghai for the bluebee® and bluebee® cloud teams. Today, over 600 sites use Siveco solutions and services in China. Siveco China, the country’s largest maintenance consultancy, currently employs over 40 people in its Shanghai and Chengdu and manages a network of Value Added Partners in various locations. |
