On January 20-24 2014, Siveco China’s Operation Director Guillaume Gimonet and Customer Support Manager Sissy Chen joined Siveco Group and Partners Event held at the group headquarters in Paris. During this annual seminar, Siveco representatives from the different countries get to know each other, share their experience and set the international strategy.

On February 11, Siveco China celebrated 50 years of diplomatic relations between China and France, the first major Western power to recognise the PRC in 1964. After a few words on De Gaulle’s independent foreign policy and its relevance to today’s world, we opened bottles of Champagne and shared the anniversary cake. On January 7, our Shanghai team celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany, also known as the Three Kings Festival. Traditionally celebrating the visit of the Three Kings to the Baby Jesus, twelve days after Christmas, the festival has also become a Siveco tradition! The team united to share a flat frangipane cake, known in French as “galette des rois” (kings’ cake), and wine.
