As announced in our last newsletter, Siveco China will celebrate its 10 years anniversary in September 2014. This month, we are kicking off a campaign of activities that will lead to the birthday celebration later this year.

The specialists data preparation services for SAP PM (or other CMMS) provided by Siveco primarily target greenfield projects. In some cases, such services may also apply to existing plants. With a strong background in greenfield infrastructure and industrial projects, Siveco has developed a specific expertise working alongside investors, EPC companies and their equipment suppliers during the construction phase, ensuring smooth transfer of technical documentation from construction to operation.

Last month’s Customer Story introduced our most interesting 2013 deals focused on discrete manufacturing and facility management. In 2008, Siveco China launched its Value Added Partner Program, better known as “VAPP”. The program has since achieved some success but lessons have been learnt to improve its performance. In January 2014, the Siveco management team established new guidelines for partners, summarized in this article.

Did you know that you could set Coswin to disallow changes in comments already entered on a Work Order? Users can enter comments on Work Orders at different stages (including during execution on bluebee® mobiles). Once saved, comments can usually be modified. It is however possible to change the setting and forbid any change to existing comments.

This month was particularly eventful for the Siveco China team, with new projects starting in Korea and… Algeria! This demonstrates the global reach of our China operation and the recognized “world class” quality of our work! This also proves that we were serious when we launched our “Go West” strategy a few years ago! Well done Siveco team!
