On May 25-26th, a Siveco team of Maintenance 4.0 specialists, headed by Managing Director Bruno Lhopiteau, attended the World Manufacturing Convention, a major industry event held in Hefei, Anhui province. Under the theme “Shaping the Future of Manufacturing”, the summit gathered government and industry leaders for two days of seminars, panel discussions and one-to-one meetings.

The project was structured around the ISO 55000 Asset Management framework (GB/T 33172 in its Chinese version) to ensue comprehensive coverage in compliance with the highest international standards. As part of the implementation process, the joint MANE-Siveco project team defined coding rules and structures and established a complete equipment information database. Workflows were streamlined and the spare parts management process was optimized.

In August 2017, Zhongshan Public Utilities Water Company selected Siveco’s bluebee® solution to further enhance its Risk Prevention and Field Management processes for five water plants. In December 2017, the mobile production inspection system was put into operation at the Dongfeng Water Plant, thus marking the company’s entry into the new era of “internet + production inspections”.

Unlike IT vendors, Siveco is an Asset Management consultancy familiar with real-life Operation & Maintenance. Siveco has developed BIM for Asset Management solutions, based on its popular Coswin 8i and bluebee® cloud platforms, designed “for O&M people by O&M people”.

On June 21, Shanghai Essilor Optical Company (SEOCL) received the “Ten Years Achievement in Maintenance 4.0 – Showcase of Maintenance Management Excellence” award, recognizing the consistent improvements achieved over the years using Siveco solutions.
