Isn’t Christmas the best time of the year? Every year I am looking forward to the holiday season, the Christmas greetings to our customers, the Siveco Christmas tree and the presents for the Siveco kids (more and more of them!), not to forget the Christmas issue of our newsletter!

This month’s “Maintenance in China” newsletter revolves around Coswin Light, the preconfigured version of our CMMS Coswin, tailored to the needs and budget of small-to-mid-size facilities. I have to admit that we have struggled over the years with how to help such companies to improve their maintenance (and to gain business with them!). Their needs are fairly well identified (“build up a modern maintenance organization”) and not very different from their larger counterparts, apart from resource and budget...

People are asking me again: why the bluebee® girls? We get a lot of positive feedback, people think it is a good marketing idea, although slightly weird and certainly unexpected from a company dealing with maintenance engineering… Truth is… people expect us to be boring.

I know some of our readers were hoping for a “Swimsuit Spectacular” issue with the bluebee® girls and our shapely Siveco girls (good recruitment policies we have here), unfortunately our editorial team (those shapely girls I was talking about) prefers to run a more traditional (boring) half-year recap…

Welcome to our June newsletter, the last one before the summer break! June was a busy month for our entire team… Several of our large multisite projects entering a critical “pilot” phase with bluebee®. We also have people in all corners of China delivering more traditional CMMS or maintenance consulting projects.
