Siveco China’s 2016 Customer Satisfaction Survey included questions about customers’ interest in newly introduced features of bluebee®. In 2016, various usability enhancements of bluebee® were released making use of the latest technologies. In fact, all the features listed already existed by the time we launched the survey but may not be used by older customers yet. In this Tips & Tricks article, we will briefly review them.

BIM is fast becoming mandatory in large buildings and infrastructure projects, yet its actual usage for operation and maintenance remains an open question. In the process industry, 3D plant design has a long history but is usually not linked to maintenance. Customers operating in very specific industries may have requirements to record data that do not exist in a standard CMMS, due to their specific processes or government regulations, certifications and standards. In 99% of the cases, the requirements are not functional: they involve adding new data fields, creating new screens or changing existing screen layout.

Maintenance 4.0 specialist Siveco has announced the release of its standard integration module bluebee® cloud for Revit®. The integration makes all BIM (Building Information Model) data in Autodesk Revit® format available to bluebee® cloud FM (Facility Management) users.

This months tips & tricks covers the powerful “personalisation” tools of Coswin, which we use to simply the user interface of the system and prove to be immensely valuable for projects in China, where many maintenance staff may have never used a CMMS before. Customers can make further use of those tools to modify or improve their user interface in the future, without involvement from Siveco.
