COSWIN: Automated jobs

As an important part of the maintenance work, preventive maintenance (PM) should always be paid a lot of attention in the company. COSWIN uses Job Guideline, Planning and Plan Release modules and operations to manage PM jobs. Generally, users are supposed to plan PM jobs and release into work orders manually, with COSWIN’s default settings. On the other hand, COSWIN’s Automated Jobs module can be used to realize automatic planning and automatic release for those regular PM works such as Inspection and Greasing.
This text is a brief introduction about the basics of Automated Jobs.

First of all, we find Automated Jobs module in the menu

Then, we create the auto plan job.

Now we successfully created the auto plan job. The system will automatically generate PM plan according to the settings.

Similarly, we can automatically release jobs in Work Order using this module.

After creating the job, the system will automatically release the work orders according to the PM plan.

Tips:

–    Siveco engineer’s advice: it is better to set the interval as 1 to 2 weeks for Auto Plan job; and Auto Release should be executed every day. (Notice: be careful about the PM preparation time, which should be well configured in Job Guidelines)
–    In the “Option” tab of Auto Plan, set “Is practical” of “PLAN_TYPE” to 1, so that the plan can be released.
–    In the “Option” tab of Auto Release, set “All Plan” of “RELPLAN_ALL_PLAN” to 1, so that the execution will be done on all the plans in the system.

COSWIN has other several automated job types, such as auto stock ABC analysis, auto archiving work orders, etc. These automated jobs will obviously reduce the users’ workload, while pushing employees to carry out daily jobs, avoiding unnecessary human errors.
