Benefits from Siveco Enhanced Support Contracts, visiting clients in Guangdong
The scope of Siveco’s Enhanced Support Contract has been covered in previous articles (see this article The Siveco China Customer Support Organization). Over the years more and more clients have joined the program, benefiting from it in various ways. For this month’s Reliability article, we would like to feature two practical examples from clients we recently visited during the week-long visit of Siveco’s Operation Director Guillaume Gimonet and Customer Service Manager Sunny Wang in Guangdong province in early April.
Suez Environnement joint ventures benefit from multisite experience sharing
Suez Environnement runs large-scale operations in China consisting of Sino French Water Development, with around 30 joint-ventures all over China, SITA Waste Services, with several waste incinerators in the region, and Degremont, the engineering and service organization. Suez Environnement has been a Siveco client for almost 10 years.
One interesting benefit for large multisite clients is the opportunity to benchmark and share knowledge between sites. During the Siveco team’s South China trip, at the invitation of Sino French Water Development, we met with one of its joint venture, a water supply company in Zhongshan on April 9th.
Zhongshan Tanzhou Water Supply Company, setup in 1992, is the first Sino-foreign JV in the water industry in China. It provides full water services to commercial and residential customers in Tanzhou Town of Zhongshan. The JV is not under the Siveco maintenance improvement program yet, which doesn’t mean it cannot benefit from it already! Indeed, the Siveco team introduced the Maintenance Management Guidelines established at group level by Siveco, as well as the supporting CMMS. The team also shared experience from CMMS projects implemented to other joint ventures (Changshu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Tianjin). The JV’s current maintenance situation and needs were discussed, as well as practical improvement ideas.
Suez Environnement top management at China level is actively promoting such sharing sessions for all its JV, as part of the ongoing maintenance improvement program with Siveco.
Food manufacturing plant Trolli Guangzhou achieves benefits and renews its Enhanced Support Contract
Guillaume and Sunny also visited Trolli Guangzhou Confectionery onsite and conducted the second yearly system assessment on April 10th. The yearly assessment is an important part of Siveco’s Enhanced Support Contract. This year’s results show that customer was very satisfied with the system and improvements achieved in the past period.
Details of the assessment are of course confidential, but benefits have been observed. The Trolli team has done a great work and see clear advantages having now a complete equipment structure in the CMMS. Downtime has been reduced and the spare part stock value further optimized.
Both client and Siveco had very fruitful exchanges during the plant visit.
