On behalf of the entire Siveco China team, I would like to wish you and yours a happy and prosperous Year of the Goat! 2014 has been a challenging year for many companies operating in China, partly due to regulatory issues. In the longer term, I believe this is encouraging as more and more companies come to recognize that maintenance, when optimized, can reduce cost and increase profit in hard times.

Last year, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Siveco China. Our logo was modified to mark the event, we ran a marketing campaign and many festivities. The anniversary celebration is now over… We find ourselves all grown-up, having to face adult life… Our logo has now reverted to its previous version.

An increasing number of Siveco customers choose to outsource the hosting of their solutions, instead of investing in their own servers and hiring the IT resources required to maintain them. This is true not only of smaller companies without a strong IT department, but also of larger corporations with very well-established in-house IT team.

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, our team has prepared a book collecting many of our customer’s success stories of maintenance improvement. The book will contain case studies, most of them already published in this newsletter over the years, each with updated content and latest achievements. Currently under final design, we will officially release it after the Chinese New Year.
