Supporting Belt & Road projects
The Belt & Road Forum for International Cooperation celebrating the 10th anniversary of this initiative has ended. 140 countries gathered in Beijing to promote high-quality infrastructures, green development, to advance scientific innovation and international cooperation. Siveco China is proud to have played a role in numerous Belt & Road projects in the past 10 years.

For infrastructure or plant owner-operators, O&M preparation during the construction phase is essential. The Smart O&M solution (or CMMS / EAM system to use the old terminology) is an important tool to ensure O&M readiness before start-up, to help optimize lifecycle costs and make the project sustainable.
For EPC companies, Chinese and international, O&M preparation, the Smart O&M or CMMS system, can provide a key differentiator during the tendering process. It is also an important deliverable in the project, to ensure O&M handover and maintenance preparedness.
Siveco China has pioneered the concept of “turnkey CMMS” to deliver maintenance documentation in the CMMS during the construction phase and developed a significant export business working with EPC companies and owners all over the word.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Belt & Road Initiative, our Managing Director Bruno Lhopiteau has recently authored two opinion articles (in English only) on his perspective of the Belt & Road “Barking Dogs and the Belt & Road Caravan: A Foreign Entrepreneur’s Testimony” and on his personal and family history “On the Belt & Road: Legends and Realities”.
