A Decade of Smart O&M Projects on the Belt and Road
The Belt and Road Initiative celebrates its 10th anniversary. By promoting infrastructure development and economic cooperation across continents, it has achieved remarkable progress. Siveco China is proud to have contributed to many Belt & Road projects, using Smart O&M to ensure maintenance readiness, optimize lifecycle costs and promote sustainability in critical infrastructures. This article provides an overview of some of our projects.
The 10th of Ramadan Railway Project (Egypt)
Siveco China is delivering the Maintenance Management System (MMS) for the 10th of Ramadan Railway Project in Egypt, built by a consortium of AVIC International and China Railway Group (CREC). The MMS was the first system to pass FAT in October 2023.

Chinese EPC Dongfang Electric selected the bluebee® Smart O&M solution for the new 230 MW Garadagh Solar PV Plant in Azerbaijan, a project of Masdar, the Abi Dhabi Future Energy Company. Click here to read more details.
Multiple gas turbine power plants (Algeria)
Siveco China supported Algeria power company Sonelgaz’ ambitious development project by implementing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for 9 large power plant projects under contract with Korean and Turkish EPC companies. Some of the projects are shown below.

Siveco China delivers the Smart O&M solution bluebee® for three wastewater treatment facilities developed by a joint venture of Organica Water and Adani Enterprises in the Uttar Pradesh State in India.

Nabisar Water Supply Project (Pakistan)
Siveco China was contracted by SEPCO III to deliver its Smart O&M solution for the Nabisar-Vajhair Water Supply Project in Pakistan. The project covers the construction of 60.7 km pipeline, 4 reservoirs, supporting office buildings and a diesel power station.

Rugading 190MW Power Plant (Malaysia)
Siveco China implemented the CMMS during the construction of the Rugading 190 MW combined-cycle gas turbine power plant (CCGT) in Sabah in East Malaysia. Owned and operated by Ranhill, the plant was built by CNEEC. Click here to read more details.

Siveco China was selected by EPC Dongfang Electric to deliver its CMMS for the 7 MW Rouna 1 hydropower station in Papua New Guinea.

UHE Tibagi Montante hydroelectric plant (Brazil)
The Coswin 8i CMMS was implemented for the management of the hydroelectric plant assets and installations, corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as for all processes related to the operation of this 36MW hydropower plant.

State Grid Brazil Holding (Brazil)
SGBH selected Siveco to deploy the maintenance management system across all its companies, including existing power grid assets and greenfield ultra-high voltage transmission lines projects.

Brazilian hydropower company PCH (Brazil)
The Coswin 8i CMMS was implemented for power company PCH’s 13 small hydroelectric plants, with a total estimated installed capacity of 291 MW. The CMMS replaced previous systems, which were very limited.

Chonburi Clean Energy (Thailand)
The Smart O&M was delivered to ensure maintenance readiness at the Chonburi Clean Energy (CCE) waste-to-energy plant, a joint venture of local power producer GPSC, industry park developer WHA and environmental giant Veolia.
