This article features the often underutilized reporting and business intelligence capabilities of our CMMS COSWIN and the embedded Crystal Report / Business Object software, a market-standard tool for which support probably exists in your IT organization and can readily be obtained from the market – without having to rely on Siveco itself. This seemingly minor feature of COSWIN opens unliminited possibilities in terms of producing graphical reports, publishing them on the web and scheduling their distribution to CMMS users and even to non-users!

No COSWIN data is locked up, any data can be extracted and formatted in a report and combined with other data. Naturally you never need start from scratch with Reports, COSWIN is delivered with hundreds of pre-formatted reports that you can use immediately or edit to your own preferences. To create your own entirely new reports requires little training. We offer you reusable report objects, personalizable templates and a formula language that will accelerate the report writing process. COSWIN Reports are created using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface and object-orientated explorers. There are report wizards that guide beginners through the common task such as the selection of fields and recording, the grouping and the layout. Other powerful tools include parameters that let users view the same data in different ways without creating multiple reports. COSWIN Business Intelligence
This powerful feature of Siveco Reports allows the publishing of indicators, reports or other data from COSWIN on a web platform. It does not require the user to know COSWIN or even to open COSWIN. The data is controlled by the users and a forum can be set up allowing discussions of the data so published. The data or reports generated can be sent by email or published over the internet via FTP.
