French National Day celebration at Siveco Shanghai office
The Siveco team held its now traditional party to celebrate the French National Day on July 14, 2014 at Siveco Shanghai office. The team enjoyed French Champagne and desserts, while General Manager Bruno led the company’s French citizens to sing revolutionary songs.

Siveco China held its half-year board meeting on July 21 at the Kokuyo Showroom in Shanghai. During the morning sessions, the progress of the ongoing ISO 9001 certification were reviewed with board members, department managers and internal auditors. During the afternoon session, the board meeting took place, with review of company performance and decisions for the second half of the year, including further investment in R&D in Shanghai and Chengdu.

On February 11, Siveco China celebrated 50 years of diplomatic relations between China and France, the first major Western power to recognise the PRC in 1964. After a few words on De Gaulle’s independent foreign policy and its relevance to today’s world, we opened bottles of Champagne and shared the anniversary cake. On January 7, our Shanghai team celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany, also known as the Three Kings Festival. Traditionally celebrating the visit of the Three Kings to the Baby Jesus, twelve days after Christmas, the festival has also become a Siveco tradition! The team united to share a flat frangipane cake, known in French as “galette des rois” (kings’ cake), and wine.
