Siveco provides key support to Suez NWS’s growing waste-to-energy business
Siveco has been working with us at the Recycling & Recovering division of Suez for over a decade now, starting with the construction of our first waste treatment plant in mainland China, one of the world’s largest hazardous waste-to-energy plants, which started operations in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park in 2006. Siveco helped establish the maintenance management system for the plant and has supported us ever since as we developed our China business.

The term “Made in China” makes one think of increasing local competition. As far as our business is concerned, it more likely means potential partners. Moreover, I would say we welcome more competitors in this high-potential market… where we sometimes feel a bit lonely! At the same time, our local content is very high, which is one of our strengths: our Shanghai R&D center, dedicated to mobility and “4.0” solutions, was setup in 2008.

Just after the Chinese New Year holiday, the Siveco management team went to Tianma Country Club in Sheshan for the 2-day yearly business review. The meeting was held in a large villa and consisted in presentations by department manager followed by fruitful discussions. One of the key topics we reviewed was the 2016 Customer Satisfaction Survey.
