A pleasant 2-day trip to Mogan Mountain

To escape Shanghai’s scorching heat, part of the Siveco team went to Mogan Mountain for a 2-day outing on July 14-15. Mogan Mountain, in Zhejiang Province, is a famous mountain resort known for its cool temperatures.

On the first day, we climbed Mogan Mountain and visited famous landscape: Xuguang station, Jiang Jieshi’s mansion, Sword Pool… Although the sun was shining and the weather was actually quite hot, the sea of bamboo and the spring along the way made the walk comfortable and enjoyable.

On the last day, we visited Xiazhu Lake National Wetland Park. We took the boat to two wetland areas and one island, discovering lotus and other aquatic plants, exploring the peaceful place and ascending the viewing tower overlooking the reeds. On Ibis Island, the best place to watch birds, we listened to the dulcet twitter as soon as we disembarked.

Overall it was an easy-going trip among friends and family, an unforgettable experience! We are looking forward to the next outing!
