Using bluebee® for commissioning support

In the commissioning phase of a project, technical teams are equipped with bluebee^® devices, allowing them to report progress and non-compliances, with direct access to the back-office databases.

By involving Siveco for maintenance engineering support early in your project, we ensure that equipment suppliers or the EPC contractor fit predefined QR code or RFID tags to all equipment. Ideally the tags are placed before equipment is installed to site. Alternatively, tagging can be done onsite by contractors under our supervision.

Siveco works with specialized hardware suppliers to supply mobile devices suitable for use in your site, including IECEx, ATEX and UL certified for use in explosion-proof areas. Touchscreen color displays are available on all devices, with various hardware (GPS, camera, scanner) and telecommunication options (WLAN, Bluetooth, GSM) depending on your operating conditions.

When scanning the asset tag, technicians gain immediate access to all related technical information available in bluebee^® cloud, including documentation, commissioning tasks and punch lists.

All data collected in the field, including action reports, measurements, notes, photos, GPS coordinates (depending on the selected hardware), etc. is then synchronized with bluebee^® cloud.

bluebee^® is designed to integrate with other third-party systems for example a DMS (Document Management Systems), commissioning management systems such as ICAPS (Integrated Commissioning And Progress System) or maintenance management systems such as SAP PM or Maximo, through the bluebee^® cloud platform.

This ensures that data from the back-office management systems are available to field workers and feedback from site is immediately transferred back to the central systems.
