On August 5, 2014, two Siveco Shanghai team members received the Sales Engineer certification from Bartec, after undergoing training at the company\u2019s headquarters in Shanghai. In addition to training on explosion protection, Bartec also introduced its latest product range including a new intrinsically safe Android smartphone \u201cImpact X\u201d. The new phone, which has received an award for Design Excellence, can run the Android version of bluebee\u00ae and is rated for use in hazardous areas (CSA Class 1 Division 1, IECEx, ATEX Zone 1).<\/div>\n

The most recent project conducted by Siveco using Bartec devices was with the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park\u2019s hazardous waste incinerator operated by SITA. In this project, which went \u201clive\u201d earlier this year, Siveco delivered Bartec ATEX-certified handheld devices running the bluebee\u00ae<\/sup> solution, integrated with the COSWIN 7i back-office system via the bluebee\u00ae<\/sup> sync synchronization platform. The same solution is already widely used in chemical and utility plants across China.<\/div>\n
